The changing of Bodies into Light, and Light into Bodies, is very conformable to the Course of Nature, which seems delighted with Transmutations.” - Sir Isaac Newton, Opticks

Resonance Science™

Building on the insight of Albert Einstein in his famous equation E = mc2, General Resonance, through Resonance Science, harnesses the insight that all matter is organized energy and that every form of matter possesses distinctive energy frequency signatures that can be detected and utilized in a unique manner.

Every object has a resonant frequency -- the natural frequency at which an object vibrates. If you could run a damp finger along the rim of a wine glass, you might hear a faint, ghostly hum -- the resonant frequency of the glass. Resonance is that state in nature when energy frequencies match the resonant frequency of an object so that energy and matter are “in tune.” It is in this state of resonance that a different set of physics and chemistry laws come into play – the “rules” change — in ways that can be used to create results never before possible.

...like an opera singer breaking a glass with his or her high note.
Resonance Science can be exemplified by the image of an opera singer breaking a glass with his or her “high note”. This is a graphic demonstration of the sound energy in the singer's voice matching with the natural frequency of an item to create a force greater than the force of any other sound at another non-resonance frequency. Important to note is that when this resonance occurs, the glass may shatter but nothing else in the path of the opera singer’s voice is destroyed.

Another example of resonance in action is the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. At the time of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse in 1940, many theories were advanced to explain what had happened, however, the general principle of the bridge collapse is straightforward: a resonance effect. Every system has one or more natural fundamental vibration frequencies. Oscillating forces at the right frequency and phase can cause sympathetic vibrations of catastrophic proportions. Thus, the amplitude of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge's oscillations increased until the steel and concrete could no longer stand the stress.

General Resonance has focused its research and technology on harnessing the power of energy in resonance to target desired reaction species in any organic, inorganic or biologic systems with minimal collateral effects, such as antimicrobial technologies which attempt to minimize or eliminate side effects. General Resonance believes that these and other applications can reduce waste and create efficient, clean technologies for medicine, agriculture, energy, and information technology, to name a few.

General Resonance’s deep knowledge base, innovative science and broad intellectual property portfolio, have the company positioned to apply Resonance Science to breakthroughs that will enable new approaches to fighting disease, growing food, reversing environmental damage, and identifying new sources of energy.

Many of General Resonance’s fundamental breakthroughs are based on major advances in the foundations of quantum physics. Albert Einstein, although the father of quantum physics, was none-the-less convinced that something had been overlooked and insisted that there were “hidden” quantum variables. General Resonance found the first of Einstein’s hidden variables more than a decade ago, and at present has identified three (3) previously hidden quantum variables as well as three (3) new universal constants. These discoveries have produced dramatic changes in the interpretation and application of quantum physics to technology development.
